Does Reach Out provide online counselling?
Reach Out doesn’t provide online counselling. However our Info Bus sessions on the RoTreat forums are a safe and moderated space where you can get advice and info from other Reach Out members and the Reach Out crew.
Our primary emphasis is on using the internet to create an anonymous but supportive space in which young people feel inspired to find the information they need when they need it.
If you need to speak to someone directly and you live in Australia you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14 (cost of a local call) or Kids Help Line on 1800 55 1800 (free call for children and young people aged 5-25) – both services are available 24/7. You can also get web or email counselling with Kids Help Line – check the website for opening hours.
