What if I need to talk to someone now?

Reach Out does not provide online, email or telephone counselling and does not check emails outside of Australian Eastern Time office hours.

If you need to speak to someone directly you can call:

Kids Helpline

Phone: 1800 55 1800 (free call from landline)

Website: http://www.kidshelp.com.au/

You can also get web or email counselling with Kids Help Line – check the website for opening hours.

Lifeline

Phone: 13 11 14 (cost of local call from landline)

Website: http://www.lifeline.org.au/

Call ‘000’ or get to a hospital now if you are in immediate danger and can’t get through to a help line (like Lifeline or Kids Helpline)

It may help to read this fact sheet about calling emergency services if you feel scared.
