Make a difference - ReachOut.com ChangeMaker
Are there things about the world which you wish you could change for the better? We know that being able to make a difference in the world is really important. To be able to take control of the issues that affect us can give us confidence in our ability to make things better, and help us build social connections with other people who feel the same.
That’s why we’re really excited to launch a new mobile website that takes the information, resources and tools you need to make a difference, and puts them in right in your pocket.
Introducing - ReachOut.com ChangeMaker!
We rifled through the brains of our friends at ActNow.com.au, the pockets of ReachOut.com, and the toolkits of a bunch of the best young change makers we know around Australia. We’ve taken all of that awesome information, and we’ve created a mobile toolkit that you can access wherever you are and whenever you’d like.
What does it do?
ReachOut.com ChangeMaker has a personal projects section, with 11 projects that you can choose from to make change on the issues you care about. These projects focus on the goals you want to achieve, like raising awareness or organising an event.
Projects can be as big or small as you want - every action you take helps to create change on the big issues that affect our lives.
Every project comes with a bunch of actions that you can do to achieve that goal. You’ll be able to add those actions to your personal checklist, which you can use to guide you on your journey to completing your project.
There’s also a tips section which has loads of tips to help you make change. These tips range from picking the right type of social media, to how to find volunteers, to petitioning your MP!
