Matespeak: Tell us what you think about mental health issues, help-seeking and technology
The Brain & Mind Research Institute and Inspire are undertaking a project together to explore how we can better support young people to access health information and seek help when they are going through a tough time.
The project team are currently seeking young people to complete an online survey exploring mental health issues and help seeking attitudes. The survey will also ask about how young people use information communication technologies and how this might be used to connect them with mental health services.
How can you help?
We are inviting you to participate in the project by completing the online survey and also by sending the survey to other young people you know via email, social networking sites, twitter, blogs, forums or any other way you can think of! This will help us to engage with and hear from as many young people as possible.
Young men and women, aged 16-24 can complete the electronic survey at www.matespeak.com.au!

You can't actually post a story on the site, but if you have a story you'd like to share with others on Reach Out please email it to crew@reachout.com.au. The main thing is that the story focuses on how you got through a tough time or on building positive mental health. Look forward to hearing from you!
