No more pencils, no more books...
Lots of things happen in December. There's Christmas, New Year, summer holidays (finally!)... But for all the students out there, December can be about one word: results.
For Year 12's, December means the culmination of years and years of school into one number. Eek! For high-school students, report cards are sent out and sometimes, they're surprising - I know mine were! For Uni and TAFE students, exam results and certificates are coming out and we've been left wondering about how we went on that heavily weighted exam we were cramming for!
December can be a really stressy time.
Unfortunately for the people in these studying categories, it’ can be hard to focus on the awesome summer things that are happening when the anxiety of these results are sitting at the front of your mind chanting I wonder? What if? Fingers crossed? Pleeeeeese? I shoulda/coulda/woulda... And after receiving the results - especially if they're not what you expected - it can be a struggle to not let them put a dampener on the holidays.
So this Monday, we'll be chatting about getting results during our Getting Real session and looking at things such as: how to deal with result anxiety, how to tell your family and friends what you got and how to keep things in perspective.
Come join us here on Monday 12th of December at 8pm AEST and share with us what you did to congratulate yourself for getting through the year!
