Hey hey everyone!!!
This Tuesday (13 October) Mim from Inspire Digital and I will be hosting a discussion about body image and eating issues and, importantly, what we can do to prevent eating disorders in young people.
The conversation is part of the National Eating Disorders Collaboration Youth Consultation which has been funded by the Australian Government.
The results of the consultation will be used to shape recommendations to the government on how we can best prevent and treat eating disorders in young people.
We want to make sure that the views and experiences of a whole bunch of young people shape the recommendations so......come and join us this Tuesday night!!! Yay!!!
Time: 7pm and 8:30pm (AEDT)
When: Tuesday, 13 October.
Who: YOU! :) and tell your friends to come too!
In the meantime, if you’ve got 15 minutes to spare it’d be great if you could do the National Eating Disorders Collaboration Youth Consultation Survey! Follow this link.
Thank you!!!! :)

ReportHiya all!
So some of the key things that I know impact or influence body image and eating habits on myself and friends is things like media, pressure from both family and friends...
I also know in my case with eating habits it comes down to what I can actually afford... some weeks I won't be able to eat much at all because I just can't afford food... So I think money is a huge issue when it comes to eating habits...

ReportA minority of young people, like young teens - teeny-boppers who say: Aww I wish I had a body like .... "Britney Spears"! Media AT times can influence people to be skinny, but than again, it's mentally.
