So much has happened since we talked last,

Good things and bad that are now in the past.

Our friendship was great, we formed a good bond,

But when you just left I had to be strong.

Your absence scarred deep and still to this day,

I miss you so much and as I came to say,

Why did you just leave me?

I'll never regret the short time we shared

And I'll never forget, the look in your eyes

When you said life was shit,

A few days went past,

Then that was just it.

Never forget that although the night may be dark and grey,

There is a brighter morning ahead if you'd only close your eyes

And dream a little dream of hope.
