Best friends are special

If I close my eyes really tightly shut,

I can see you,

I can see us laughing,

I can see us crying.

If i keep them closed and think really hard,

I can see us both smiling,

I can see us both talking.

I sit here, up in my bed and late at night when its dark and silent

I close my eyes and I think of you.

Sometimes it makes me laugh,

Sometimes it makes me cry.

And I'm waiting till I see you again and I'm waiting till we'll both be able to laugh together,

talk together,

catch up on the goss that I've been missing since the day I moved.

But for now,

I'll close my eyes,

really tightly shut and I'll be able to see you and see us both laughing.
