Memories
By: Saloni
As another year goes,
Another takes its place.
Twelve more months of missing you
Of never seeing your face.
Of looking at your photos,
Of the memories of your smile.
For just the chance to hold you
I'd walk a million miles.
I wrote this poem with wishes,
And dreams that can't come true
Of dreaming dreams
Wishing dreams really would come true
So, again I say good-bye to you
Knowing all your pain is gone
Just wishing I could wake up and
Find you here at home.
