Need some help?
When you go through a break up, your mood is bound to dive. But things will get better. Here are some things you can do that might help:
Challenge negative thinking - breaking up doesn't mean you are a failure or that there is something wrong with you. Look for alternative explanations before jumping to conclusions.
Talk to someone - people like mates and counsellors can help you with strategies for managing the situation.
Set goals for the future - plan for something you have always wanted to do. This might mean going out on a limb and trying something new.
Exercise - it jacks your mood and is a great way of expressing strong emotions.
