Sharing your personal story
Want to help other young people get through tough times, or share the things you’ve learnt by overcoming difficult experiences? By submitting a video, audio or written story, you can help other people feel like they aren’t alone, and help them find ways to deal with the problems they are going through.
We want to inspire others and give them options for improving their mental health and wellbeing. Your story should focus on what you’ve been through and, most importantly, HOW you got through it. Giving tips that may just help someone get through their tough time.
Some ideas for things your piece might hit on:
- Your experience of either helping yourself, getting help, or helping someone else deal with tough times or challenges
- Navigating sex + sexuality
- Becoming more independent
- Caring for yourself or others
- Your tips for wellbeing
Ultimately, you decide…This is your chance to inspire the world and tell your story.
Who can submit stories?
Anyone who is between 14 – 25 years old, living in Australia, and who has been through a tough time, whether it be a mega struggle or just a bad day, can submit their personal story.
