She stops, breathes and reminds herself that is is ok to make mistakes

When you start a new job, it can be really scary. You have lots of new things to learn and you dread making a mistake on your first day. Keep in mind that being nervous at a new job is normal and if you make a mistake, it's not the end of the world. Film crew member Amy reminds us that everyone is nervous when they start a new job, and you can develop your own coping strategies to help the process go smoothly. 

About the Filmmaker

Amy is 23 years old and lives in Darwin, Northern Territory. She moved to the NT after finishing her Film, Journalism and Marketing degree at Curtin University in Western Australia. Amy is passionate about sharing people's stories with media and using her communications skills to help others. She's currently working at MusicNT helping to promote local musicians and is doing a lot of freelance media and marketing. She loves life, is terminally positive and says 'yah' lots.
