My name's Philip Hojgaard-Olsen. I am 19 years old. For my HSC, I chose to do drama, software design development, standard English, two unit maths and digital animation games design at TAFE. I think my worst subject would probably have been mathematics. With having muscular dystrophy it also means that I can get quite tired. The hardest part was the exams themselves because I got double time in order to be able to complete the exam and have the same opportunities to get good grades like everyone else. That meant that exams lasted for about ... some, for about six hours. The reason why I had that extra time was because it takes me a bit longer to both get set up and also in the exam itself, it takes me a while to, sort of, get my answer I had my brother and sister who had already gone through and done HSC. They achieved quite high marks and ATARs and then I thought that I had to, kind of, like achieve or beat that and I just felt like ... OK, well, as long as I get into the course I want to do then it really doesn't matter. My mark? I can't even remember the exact number ... Yeah, it's not too important to me. I got an offer like a week before I even got my ATAR so I already knew that I got into the course. I've deferred my course because I've got plans to travel to Denmark for six months this year so I'll be starting at uni next year in July.
