Moog: We are down at the Mighty Car Mods Nationals 2019, where we've got fans from all over Australia who've come to show us their cars and race their cars. And we're shooting a video today about getting support for mental health. [On-screen text] What do you do when things go wrong? I used to have a really short fuse with a lot of things, and I just breathe through it. As in like, I just count to ten, just slow everything down and have a good think about it. Generally it's good just to get the mind off of it, and then I can come back at it, whatever the problem is, with a fresh mind. Definitely go to my family, number one. I think it's important for people to remember that when something goes on it is transient. People have different moods, different days, different weather, and I think it's really important to know that when you are struggling with something, it does end. I work with some pretty supportive guys and they really seem to pick up on when my moods are off. So if I'm feeling a bit crap, bit shit about myself, I talk to my friends, my close ones. Anyone that really gets me, knows me well and understands what I might be going through. Sometimes all it takes is just a second perspective - maybe that situation isn't so bad or maybe there's a pathway you haven't looked at. It's cool just to have that sort of backing, like a safety net, really. [On-screen text] What do you do to make yourself feel better? To make myself feel better, I probably dive into something I love. Playing music, playing games. Exercising, lately. I've been on a bit of an exercise kick. If you play something a bit more relaxing, like a car racing game. You get to sit there and design a car and build it up. What I do is either game or tinker with the car. Usually mountain biking, however, that didn't exactly go well the last time I tried that. I really like to go for a run. I like to turn technology off, I like to go out into the bush. Getting out camping, hiking, anything like that. I think there's lots of great support with the online community of Mighty Car Mods, because lots of people on there are at various stages of their life and going through different things. We want people to be able to talk about it and not feel like they have to hide it, because I think the first step in actually kind of trying to help themselves is talking about what's going on for them.
