[On-screen title] How did you get into skating? Asked for a skateboard for Christmas or my birthday, whichever one it was, and got it, and it just went from there. My friends were doing it and it just looks like a lot of fun and I like the challenge of it. [On-screen title] How has skating helped you? It got me out and about a bit more. Going to skate parks with mates is always good, always got your back, encouraging you. Just the variety of it and how you kind of do whatever you want. It's a physical activity that's not really competitive, but for me it's mostly getting out in the sun, getting outside. I guess it's just a nice thing to do to relax when you're not working or studying. [On-screen title] Hardest thing about skating? Putting yourself out there, putting yourself in a situation of risk. Just learning new tricks is hard, holding on to your old trick is hard, like, everything about it hard. It's really hard to stick with when you're, like, working full time but it's worth to keep at it. Well, when you go to the skate park, especially when you're younger, it's a bit daunting just going off and starting a conversation with someone but just take that step, you just start talking someone. That's how I've met a lot of my friends. Just get a board and just keep going,
