Take a break

take a break

Regular breaks are important, especially when you feel like you’re ‘too busy’. They’ll help you recharge so you can come back to your work refreshed and ready to kill it!

Stressed or anxious?

Try these 3 steps to calm your nerves

Take a breath

Take a breath

When you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a breath to calm yourself down. Try the 4–7–8 technique: breathe in for four seconds, hold your breath for seven seconds, and exhale for eight seconds.

Deal with distraction

Deal with distraction

It can be hard to concentrate or even take a proper break when you’ve got distractions, like your family making a racket all the time. Take a moment to find your own corner, put on some headphones and listen to your favourite playlist.

Talk to someone about how you’re feeling

Talk to someone about how you’re feeling
