At ReachOut, we’re big on sharing our ideas and knowledge on the international stage, as well as staying connected to local services.
Just last week our Director of Service Delivery, Kerrie Buhagiar, presented at CYPSY20 in San Diego. Participants from 16 countries heard from her about the hugely important role e-health services play in facilitating help-seeking among young people with early signs of a mental health issue.
An international networking and sharing platform for researchers, clinicians, and policymakers, the conference was an opportunity to discuss advancements in the growing fields of CyberPsychology and CyberTherapy, as well as explore how health technologies are changing individual behaviour, societal relationships and interpersonal interactions.
Of the event, Kerrie said: ‘It’s been a fantastic opportunity to hear from leading researchers and clinicians in the field of CyberPsychology, and be inspired by the innovative work emerging in this field across the globe. It was a privilege to share our achievements and impact on an international platform, and among an audience of thought leaders in CyberPsychology and Social Networking.’
