Reconciliation and inclusiveness

Reconciliation Action Plan

We acknowledge the traditional owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders both past and present.

As an organisation, we’ve made the first step in our Reconciliation Action Plan, which is a multiyear strategy to improve our knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples so that we can better serve them in our work. You can view our Reconciliation Action Plan here.

Inclusiveness

As part of our focus on inclusiveness, we are undertaking a number of projects to improve our ability to engage with and help people from diverse backgrounds. We have developed a Social Inclusion Toolkit to ensure that we prioritise inclusiveness in all of our projects, so our services can benefit people of all cultures, backgrounds and identities.
