About ReachOut.com

Who runs ReachOut.com?

ReachOut was started in 1998 from the groundbreaking idea to use the internet to make digital self-help available for young people (more on our story here). One in four young people goes through a mental health difficulty, and we believe technology has the potential to deliver a service that can meet unlimited demand, so that’s why we created ReachOut.

ReachOut is a registered not-for-profit based in Sydney but our services are accessed all over Australia. We employ around 40 great people who work across service delivery, research, digital, marketing and organisation support.

ReachOut is funded by the Federal Department of Health as well as corporate, community and philanthropic donations.

We also partner with heaps of other organisations to make sure every person who visits ReachOut finds the help they are looking for.
