List of our digital advertising tools

ReachOut uses a range of digital advertising tools and analytics features to provide safe and relevant advertising and content to our target audience. This information below aims to help you understand what we do with the data, and how you can opt out of it's collection so you can manage your privacy preferences.

Facebook Pixel

ReachOut uses the Facebook Pixel, which is an analytics tool that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising by understanding the actions people take on our Services. ReachOut uses the Facebook pixel to serve related content to Facebook users (across Facebook’s suite of products, including Messenger and Instagram) based on their use of the ReachOut Services, and to optimise advertising based upon a user’s likeliness to complete an action on a ReachOut Service/s (e.g. register for an account, subscribe to an email, etc.) Additionally, the Facebook Pixel is used to inform targeting, by creating custom audiences with interests similar to those who’ve already visited a ReachOut Service/s.

Opt out: You can opt out of Facebook’s use of the Facebook pixel by visiting https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/advertisers/?entry%5Fproduct=ad%5Fsettings%5Fscreen or https://www.facebook.com/ads/about

Tik Tok Pixel

ReachOut uses the TikTok pixel, which is a small piece of code that allows advertisers to measure and optimise advertising campaign performance, build target audiences to re-engage users based on their use of the ReachOut Services, and to optimise advertising based upon a user’s likeliness to complete an action on a ReachOut Service/s (e.g. register for an account, subscribe to an email, etc.) Additionally, the TikTok Pixel is used to inform targeting, by creating custom audiences with interests similar to those who’ve already visited a ReachOut Service/s.

Opt out: You can opt out of Personalized Ads on TikTok by visiting: https://support.tiktok.com/en/account-and-privacy/personalized-ads-and-data

Snap Pixel

ReachOut uses the Snap Pixel, which is a piece of JavaScript code that helps advertisers measure the cross-device impact of campaigns. We will be able to see how many Snapchat users take action on the ReachOut Services after seeing a ReachOut ad on Snapchat. ReachOut uses the Snap Pixel to understand how ads are performing, so that they can be optimised to better target and engage our users.

Opt out: You can opt out of Audience-Based and Activity-Based Ads through the Settings in Snapchat or, alternatively, device settings ("Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS and "Opt out of Interest-Based Ads" on Android). Snap does not offer the ability to opt out of ad targeting based on user activity within Snapchat.

ReachOut uses Google Ads to serve interest-based ads, and to personalise advertising based on a user’s engagement with ReachOut’s services.

Opt out: You can opt-out of personalised ads from Google by visiting https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=en-AU or http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1
