Becca Hatch is a singer/songwriter from Western Sydney, and when she was 16 she won Triple J’s Unearthed High Indigenous Initiative. Becca grew up with two strong cultures as part of her life, as her Mum is from Samoa and her Dad is a proud Kamilaroi Aboriginal man.
Becca and her Mum and Manager Tammy, reflect on her unique cultural background and the opportunity her music provides to be a role model for other young Australians.
